Why would the lead Canadian Derby story be about Peter Redekop´s purchase when Al´s better Side, Barb, showed No Hesitation in winning last Saturday´s Western Canada Stakes for 3 year olds going 6 furlongs on Northlands park dirt.
Northlands wouldn´t have to spend as much as it does on advertising and promotions if it treated its ever dwindling fan base with the respect it deserves rather than continually invoking the Petty Trespass Act.
