Richard Bonnycastle´s Harlequin Ranches´ Alberta-bred Free Fee Lady drew away to a four-length win in the $250,000 Bison City Stakes at Woodbine July 11, earning $157,500 for her second win in three starts.
The Alberta-bred daughter of Victory Gallop out of the Slew o´ Gold mare, Atocha Queen, was making her first start against winners and her route debut after two starts at seven furlongs.
Bred in Alberta by Highfield Stock Farm and David Munro, Free Fee Lady was a $30,000 purchase at the August 2008 Alberta yearling sale.
