The purpose of this meeting is to update industry participants on the committee´s current work to address the industry´s financial challenges and to provide an update on the next steps for the committee. The meeting will also include an open question and answer forum.
Given the financial challenges faced by the industry, the committee recognizes the importance of ensuring that all participants have access to clear and accurate information. This meeting will build on the committee´s efforts to date to provide information to industry participants. BC Cup Sprint for 3 yr old & up going 6 ˝ furlongs for BC breds with a purse of $50,000 a
BC Cup Classic with a purse of $50,000 going 1 1/8th miles.
Also offered that day is a 1 3/8-endurance race for BC breds that have started for a claming price of $8000.00 dollars or less in the 2009 or 2010 for the current owner(s).

Donated items to be auctioned to raise funds for the Backstretch Chaplaincy Trust Fund are required. The fund provides benevolence to backstretch workers and events to improve the quality of life all of the horsemen working at the track.
